At Cloud and Cuckoo we specialise in natural, eco friendly teething products. In 2017 we launched ‘My Friend Goo’ a natural rubber teether, easy for young babies to hold and manoeuvre independently. Our goal is to develop a range of teethers that are completely safe for babies to mouth and chew. We pride ourselves on the ethical approach that is at the forefront of our decision making and the future of our planet is at the heart of everything we do. Our challenge is to ensure the materials and processes we use are also as environmentally friendly as possible. New additions to the product range include a teether clip and super absorbent dribble bibs. All products are CE certified and meet all safety requirements.

My Friend Goo was designed by our founder Jenna Horner who couldn’t find a suitable teether for her daughter when she was teething. With an abundance of teethers made from plastic or silicon we want to offer an alternative that is 100% safe, natural and more pleasant to chew on. Our research found other rubber teethers to be difficult for young babies to hold. As a mother Jenna was frustrated by a serious lack of options, a teether that her daughter could hold more easily would mean she could get on with her extensive ‘to do list’ or sit down and drink a hot cup of tea.

At the time Jenna was a teacher of Art in a secondary School and she became aware of an increasing range of ability when it came to fine motor skills. Being able to control a pencil or paintbrush was incredibly difficult for some pupils. My Friend Goo, enables the youngest of babies to practice these skills right from the word go. Being able to hold and explore an object with ease means milestones such as weaning and will be much easier to master.
