Recent research and development has led to the successful testing to BS 8524-1 for the Flameshield Fire Curtain Range. The standard is a significant improvement on the requirements for “Active Fire Barrier Assemblies”. In particular comprehensive performance criteria for fire resistance, impact testing, surface spread of flames, durability, motor testing and cyclic testing must be achieved.
