Design Award Win in New York for British Bag Brand, C.Nicol
Cathleen Nicol, the designer behind British handbag label, C.Nicol, was announced as a winner in the the global awards programme that celebrates the best new talent in accessories design, the 10th annual Independent Handbag Design Awards (IHDA).
The accolades were presented at the IHDA ceremony at the School of Visual Arts Theatre, New York.
C.Nicol was one of just three British designers selected as a finalist from more than 1,500 entries submitted by accessories designers worldwide.
Taking home the award for ‘Best Resort Bag’, Cathleen Nicol said: “It is a great honour to have won an IHDA Award and a huge morale boost. Being a part of IHDA is a wonderful platform on which new accessories labels like mine can grow and develop.”
