Large Aircraft Systems Engineering Services

Currently WEC are supporting Airbus Fuel & Inerting and Landing Gear domains to a level of approximately 40 engineers within Continuous Product Development, Research & Technology, Incremental Developments and Validation and Verification (V&V) in the UK and Inerting/V&V in Spain. WEC has significant experience working across all areas of the Fuel and Inerting domain on all Airbus civil programmes and A400M. This experience includes design trade studies, requirements management, system design/development/modification (SAE ARP 4754), in-service problem investigations, systems safety analysis (SAE ARP 4761), certification plans and reports, equipment qualification (RTCA DO-160/178, MIL-STD-810, EASA, FAA, CAA etc.), supplier management and Lead Engineer roles. In support of qualification and certification activities our engineers oversee aircraft testing in Hamburg and Toulouse and equipment qualification tests at suppliers’ facilities on behalf of Airbus.
