Most international travel is carried out with very, very little personal planning, no matter if it is for leisure or business, this is fine until something goes wrong.
Events such as acts of terrorism or natural disasters can and do happen. While the odds of getting caught up in something like that are quite small, other incidents are less uncommon, such as road traffic incidents or becoming a victim or robbery.
In 2015, Intelligent Protection International Limited set up its own intelligence cell in order to provide up-to-date Country Risk Reports, aimed at the casual and business traveller.
The aim was to keep the reports very simple, very much an "at-a-glance" approach with useful information to help both the planning of a trip and while on the trip itself.
