Hello Lamp Post is working with the Environment Agency to provide a live 24-7 conversation channel, to educate the public on flood safety and inform residents of local protective infrastructure – in a digestible, informative and engaging way.

National outcomes so far, across 9 activated locations:

- Reduced engagement costs per capita by ~92% (12× better value)
- Environment Agency have avoided a £1.24m spend on alternative engagement activities (across six schemes) - for example: public drop-in sessions, staffed on-site kiosk, letter drops and in-person surveys
- Reduced carbon footprint by 20.71 tonnes
- Environment Agency is now able to engage with the public 24/7/365, for the first time
- Increased community preparedness, engagement and reach, compared to previous years
- Improved insight into public behaviour; new public sentiment & opinion data
