PRIVYSEAL LIMITED

The SACAP PrivySeal only reflects in the email footer if the Registered Person is in good standing with the Council.

Preventing the misappropriation of professional credentials

The South African Council for the Architectural Professions (SACAP) had implemented PrivySeal's Digital Accreditation Service to make its Registered Persons visible and help, those of them that qualify to do so, to prove their entitlement to submit plans to Municipalities and other Local Authorities.

By adding their SACAP PrivySeal to their Plans, they enable municipal authorities to check their registration category and contact details in real-time and make it very difficult, if not practically impossible, for fraudsters to submit plans under false pretenses.

PrivySeal has provided SACAP with access to its digital credentialing SaaS platform allowing us to provide real-time digital seals and certificates to all our Registered Persons. SACAP is pushing its certificate data to the PrivySeal platform, where real-time seals and certificates are being generated. As SACAP’s membership data changes the updates are pushed through to the PrivySeal platform, ensuring the certificate data is syncronised and SACAP’s seals and certificates display the latest SACAP registration and compliance status pertaining to our Registered Persons. SACAP’s electronic certificate and seal links are uploaded into our Registered Persons’ profiles and displayed to our Registered Persons when they log into our Membership portal. We recommend the PrivySeal Digital Accreditation Service as a secure and reliable digital credentialing service.
