TSS services to International Schools and families

Supporting International schools, students and parents

Working with two international school groups, we have mentored the EAL and SEND departments to develop assessment processes which provide indicators of students competency, conducted staff training in teaching of EAL and SEND, given training in conducting observation and evidence gathering and implemented the Graduated Approach to SEND, which is championed in the SENDCOP 2014 (UK). This has led to improved outcomes for schools, reduction of teacher workload and clearly identified pathways for students to follow, so that they can achieve meaningful qualifications from their time at international school, regardless of their academic or cognitive ability. The schools we work with can truly describe themselves as inclusive. We also support the school with staff training, SEND and EAL teaching support and delivery of non - exam focused qualifications for students, from age 14 in the areas of functional skills in maths, English and ICT. We also offer additional courses too.
