Teaching for Success - Tunisia
SUMMER PROGRAMME
• Designed a 5-day, 30-hour teacher training summer programme for Primary 4 teachers in Tunisia, alongside a trainer training programme for teacher advisors (TA) taking part in the training;
• Focus on early literacy
• Recruited teacher trainers with primary teacher training experience to deliver the 5-day programme;
• Monitored and had a quality assurance role as lead co-ordinator, visiting all 12 venues and observing all 57 trainers and 54 TA’s;
• A total of 2,500 teachers trained
WINTER PROGRAMME
• Modified the 5-day, 30-hour Summer Teacher Training programme for Primary 4 teachers in Tunisia to be delivery in a 2-day and 3-day programme;
• Recruited teacher trainers with primary teacher training experience to deliver the 2-day programme across 20 venues in 3 weeks and recruited remote support trainers (RST) to support the teachers;
• Designed feedback tools for RST’s to support the teachers remotely;
• Total of 2,500 teachers trained
