Following a successful installation in TOGO, of multiple MP100 medical waste incinerators.

Developing healthcare disposal systems in TOGO for UNICEF

Contagious diseases have continued to remain a leading cause of morbidity across parts of Africa. As a result of the increase in treatment facilities, there has been an increase in the generation of waste, leading to a growth in illegal dumping of untreated medical waste proving extremely hazardous. This is where an investment in disposal systems was crucial in securing the health and wellbeing of current and future generations. We deployed multiple incinerators across Togo each selected due to its ease of use alongside the flexibility in managing a wide range of medical waste categories effectively. Togo a predominantly French-speaking country to ensure correct communication is in-place was vital to guarantee safe working practices are understood for medical waste. We utilised two of our bi-lingual engineers who were dispatched to assist throughout the commissioning and training process in order to give local operators all the knowledge they needed to safely operate our incinerators.
