Recently completed independent field trials of Blademaster Xtreme Ground Engaging Tools have demonstrated wear life 3 times longer than OEM GET products. Xtreme Dozer edges and end bits were trialled on a machine operating in very harsh conditions in the Albazino open pit gold mine in far eastern Russia.
Xtreme edges and end bits were fitted to a machine carrying out dozing of rock formations. The blades operated for almost 2000 hours over a period of three months without replacement. This is three times longer than the wear life of the dozer OEM edges and end bits normally used.

Ivan Atroshchenkov of DVR, who organised the trial stated, "We are delighted with the longevity of the Blademaster Xtreme blades, After 3 months operation the blades are still in service and haven't been reversed yet, which will provide even longer wear life. It has been recommended they are fitted to all machines in the future." See out website for data collected during the trial.
