GREEN GROW - A Scottish Circular Economy Design Model
The model is based on deflecting clean bio-resources from going to landfill and utilising industrial heat. We produce in shipping containers and supply mushrooms for life science and edible markets.
The showcase model has been multi-awarded nationally and internationally.
We have used the circular economy principles to realise a showcase of what is possible to do with closing the loops of Nature.
Green Grow is now in the process to scale up the system with a modular 'ready to grow service' dedicated to system retailers, farmers, brewery and whisky industry and whoever has residual heat to be reallocated in growing system shipping containers.
We offer a number of refurbished container models including:
a energy self sufficient small scale / flexible, subscription model to forestry social enterprises; and
a scaled-up on-farm model using, monitoring and controlling waste heat
We provide to the partners a monitored framework and the know-how for the production
