GILBERTS (BLACKPOOL) LIMITED

Hotel room with Gilberts grille

HELPING DELIVER ULTIMATE COMFORT AND FLEXIBILITY

It was originally built during Victorian times; now it has undergone a three-year, £6million re-build. Unlike any other hotel on the island, the Mannin features air conditioning, stylishly delivered in all guest bedrooms and the major public areas using British designed and engineered grilles from Gilberts (Blackpool) Ltd.

On the advice of the project facilities management/building services consultants, the new hotel relies on Gilberts’ aluminium linear bar grilles and diffusers, and extract grilles for effective air movement.

Installed at high level, counterbalancing the underfloor heating, the Gilberts’ units ensure an effective yet draught-free throw of air into, and extraction from, the rooms. The combination quietly maintains a comfortable, fresh environment for guests, from floor to ceiling, without hot or cold spots.

“Whilst air conditioning isn’t a necessity because of the local climate here, it is a guest expectation, and helps differentiate us, and set us above, other similar levels of hotel on the island.”
