• To research the potential for this leading Spanish manufacturer's range of high-performance doorsets in the UK construction market.
• To identify suitable options for penetrating the UK market, including appointing sole distributors, multiple distributors or agents
• To identify and contact potential UK partners with established links to the relevant sectors and identify those interested in the proposal
• To arrange meetings with potentially-interested partners
Results:
Meetings were arranged and the Spanish manufacturer's representatives visited the UK on five separate occasions. From these meetings a further shortlist of the five most suitable potential partners was created, all of which were high-profile distributors of high-performance doors, each with established supply links to main contractors, architects and other specifiers.
