Sotogrande Film Studios

Sotogrande Studios extends the scope and prestige established by its sister facility at nearby San Roque. Facilities will include: two 4K stages; two screening rooms; 2,000m2 of post production offices; a film school; a private VIP club; sports courts; open air gym and café. All set in generous landscaped grounds. Reducing carbon emissions will be a key driver for the project. The intention is to set a new standard for this typology. Specific opportunities and targets will be identified as technical aspects of the design are developed. In the first instance, extensive solar arrays are proposed for energy production while a significant use of timber and recycled materials will reduce embodied energy.
