SME growth through high quality web content and an excellent monthly newsletter
When an Essex-based plant nursery was looking to boost its sales and marketing, I helped the client introduce a monthly customer newsletter, with featured plants, hints and tips, to improve clicks through to their website and showcase the business owner’s incredible expertise.
Within a few weeks, the newsletter had built up 730 recipients, with a 50% open rate – growing to 4,900 recipients over a few years and open rates rising every week.
The nursery’s web sales are now much stronger averaging at around 30% up from 4% when their website was first launched.
The monthly newsletter keeps going from strength to strength, and I provided guidance and writing tips to keep it fresh and engaging, to maintain the momentum between good marketing and sales figures.
