Planning & Environmental DD - UK Wind Portfolio
Technical Due Diligence for a proposed 88MW floating offshore wind generation scheme located close to an Oil facility.
Our Planning and Environmental work on these
projects involved a review of planning permission
and associated conditions, including non-material
variations and materials relating to discharge of pre-commencement conditions and compliance with
ongoing construction and operational conditions.
Our scope included a review of section 106
agreements, highways and aviation agreements
and permits and noise and shadow flicker studies
provided for each project. We also provided a
review of the lease agreements for the site area,
and of wayleaves, easements and other land rights
documentation provided to facilitate construction
and operation of the projects.
We provided recommendations for actions relating
to compliance with all aspects of planning consent
and to environmental risks of the projects. Actions
were closed out on an ongoing basis, when
possible, through regularly updated QAs with the
project developers.
