Our client asked us to help them with the mounting data fragmentation at their successful 5-star resort.
We have automated a large part of the workflow of the data science team and made their work available to larger team. They could then look at the analytics updated daily (instead of monthly) and make business-critical decision faster.
Another benefit of the more rigorous and structured data architecture was that the audits became a breeze. Auditing reports became a push-of-a-button affair rather than a weeks-worth of work of preparing the data.
The system that we have deployed started as a desktop application that could ingest data ana journals from various hospitality and database system - mostly oracle hospitality products, home-grown msSQL system and excel spreadsheets.
This evolved into a cloud-based system which parses and understands the data in realtime, providing forecasting and alerting.
We are working right now on an intelligent Alerting system.
