Gold Exploration, Mining and Metallurgy in Central America

After an initial site visit and due diligence report, our client took ownership of the project and ACA Howe led exploration, mining and metallurgical studies through to 2015. The work involved geologists, mining engineers and metallurgists and achievements included the identification of high grades gold zones accessible by rehabilitating and extending the existing workings and bringing the safety standards in line with international standards.

Specific tasks completed include:

1. Surface and underground channel sampling.
2. Assessment of mine condition and recommendations of mining methods.
3. Underground development led by ACA Howe geologists and mining engineers, including face mapping and sampling, guideance on mining equipment, mining methods, safety and underground surveying.
3. Evaluation of processing plant condition and recommendations for upgrade.
4. Cost modelling in order to determine project potential.
5. Assessment of onsite laboratory equipment and procedures.
