Odour Control system for a Food Waste Project

The Refood AD facility in Dagenham, East London processes over 160,000 tonnes a year. The £32million pound facility was completed in 2017 and injects Biogas directly into the gas grid. CSO designed and installed a Terminodour odour control system to the main reception hall and the sludge screening building as well as providing some activated carbon scrubbers to the external process tanks. The Terminodour system reduced operational power consumption by 70% compared with a biofilter and utilised just 10% of the space.
