UK University Collaboration Creates Business Simulation

Building on the global success of the business simulation 'SimVenture Classic', VSL offered client universities an opportunity to collaborate in the development of a new on-line simulation 'SimVenture Evolution'.

Whilst SimVenture Classic was very popular, its design and off-line status denied users the opportunity to scale a company and compete directly with others. The software also didn't allow teachers and trainers to remotely observe, communicate and assess learner performance.

To ensure SimVenture Evolution overcame the limitations of SimVenture Classic, VSL collaborated with 9 UK universities and launched the new on-line product in 2016. Since that date, nearly 50 UK HEIs have subscribed to Evolution.

International interest in the product continues to grow with clients in the Far East, Africa, Middle East, North America, Latin America and South America. Evolution has been translated into Mexican Spanish and will be translated into Chinese in 2019.
