Recruitment for a Komatsu supplier operating across Africa

Linum Consult supported the client by providing a targeted Candidate Mapping solution to assist with the future hires of four key positions. Country Manager, Project Manager, Site Manager & Fleet Manager. Linum Consult had to identify candidates with the required mechanical qualifications and also with previous experience of operating across the 27 African countries than our client supplies into. In addition, Linum Consult had to identify candidates that could speak a minimum of both French and English with a third local African language preferred as well.

The environment for the candidates is extremely complex where they need to adapt to local cultural and political challenges. Often, the mine sites are found in very harsh, remote locations, which can be unsafe. These challenges were overcome with a targeted successful recruitment campaign.
