Company description

The Secret Garden Distillery is run by two sisters, Imogen and Isobel Armstrong. They acquired the company in 2022 and, with a strong commitment to sustainability and provenance, they are dedicated to creating premium spirits that are truly Rooted in Nature. In our garden we grow over 600 varieties of botanicals including herbs, wild plants and flowers. Everything at the Secret Garden Distillery is grown naturally. We do not use any chemicals, pesticides or herbicides, and our botanicals are hand-harvested to ensure the highest quality ingredients. Every drop of Secret Garden Gin is distilled on site, at the foot of the Pentland Hills, Edinburgh. Our gins use a base of Juniper, Coriander, Winter Savory and Angelica Root. Each of these represent a different part of the plant. This is the perfect canvas from which we build each of our flavours. The colour of our gins is from natural petal infusion. There are no artificial colours or flavours added. Nature is at the heart of our distillery, so naturally we aim to mitigate the environmental impact of our energy-intensive operations. We are committed to investing in green energy and progressing towards carbon negative emissions. From sustainable gardening to sourcing eco-friendly packaging, we are committed to minimizing our impact on the planet. Our goal is not only to create fantastic spirits, but also to make a positive difference in the world we call home. Our core range of Secret Garden Gins are Rose Gin, Lemon Verbena Gin, Elderflower & Jasmine Gin, and Wild Gin. We also create Limited Edition and Seasonal Gins.
