CriticalBlue's Approov product (www.approov.io) is a software authentication solution for mobile apps and APIs. Our innovation is that we can prove that communications genuinely come from the mobile app and that the app has not been tampered with, and we do this without requiring any secrets to be stored in the app itself. Therefore Approov significantly raises the bar in securing backend resources from being accessed via the mobile API. Approov was launched in 2016 and already has multiple live and deployed customers in International markets.
