SLATE is the world's first understanding driven data aggregation, analytics and collaboration platform. We use advanced cloud AI/ML to cost-effectively interpret, alert on and forecast data from a variety of specialist remote sensor systems including those used in Geotechnical, Construction, Asset Condition and Industrial IoT monitoring applications. Using our experience of building large online analytics platforms for Crossrail (designed to support 250,000+ sensors on what was then Europe's largest civil engineering project) and other big data projects, the forerunner to SLATE was initially developed exclusively for geotechnical and asset monitoring industry use, and retailed under the name brand name Calyx. With the rise of Building Information Modelling (BIM), Industrial IoT, Intelligent Automation and the development of parallel industries to geotechnics (e.g. in marine exploration) the applicability of the of SLATE technology stack has become much wider, encompassing a larger number of sensor types, more GIS and surveying tools, novel computer vision analysis systems, support for 3D building models (Autodesk Forge, OpenBIM), AI/ML, collaboration tools and more. Today, the SLATE technology stack has supported over 300 high profile remote monitoring projects in the UK and abroad (we support translation to all languages) and we are now actively marketing the product as a global Software as Service offering.
