Company description
Developing Experts is a complete science curriculum programme for children aged 4 to 16 years and functions as a careers platform for the whole family. With a complete set of interactive and sequenced lessons, it is the ideal platform for teaching science in the classroom and consolidating revision or extra learning at home. It provides a growing library of over 1000 online lessons, with practical investigations, handouts and assessment quizzes included. All resources are fully mapped against the National Curriculum, with scientific skills and learning outcomes clearly outlined in each lesson. With differentiated resources, teachers are able to provide their class with a wide range of tasks and track their students' progress. As a science provider, DE has a sustained focus on a green future and aims to meet the targets set out in the DfE's sustainability and climate change policy; namely, that pupils should be educated on climate change through 'knowledge-rich education' which should in turn be translated into 'positive action and solutions'. By targeting primary-aged pupils, DE also seeks to promote diversity and inclusion in STEM by encouraging women, ethnic minorities and students from a socio-economically disadvantaged background to pursue science as a career pathway.
