Established in 2011, Cheshire and Warrington LEP is a private sector-led organisation responsible for driving the economic growth of the sub-region. What we do The LEP works in partnership with the three local authorities – Cheshire East Council, Cheshire West and Chester Council and Warrington Borough Council, Cheshire Business Leaders, Chambers of Commerce, DIT both in national and Northern Powerhouse teams. The LEP has a dedicated Trade and Investment Group, including inward investment managers based in the LEP and the 3 partner local authorities. The T&I group manages an investment portfolio of around £1.5bn and account manages foreign owned companies providing a consistent service including: 1. Comprehensive skills, recruitment and training support 2. Access to funding, government incentives, support for innovation and R&D 3. Undertake property searches appropriate to the need for growth and expansion 4. Connection to regulators that you may need planning consents or permits 5. Access to UK government specialist industry and market knowledge 6. Export advice and support 7. Dedicated account manager
