Nu-Star is a fast-growing global business, based in a purpose-built 11,000 Sq. ft. factory in rural Ednaston, Derbyshire. We are a specialist Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of pedestrian operated electric tugs and utility vehicles designed to manoeuvre industrial loads. We are not a 'catalogue manufacturer’ – customers approach us with their problems and we combine our specialist knowledge and experience with manufacturing ability to provide them with a completed solution. Our product range continues to evolve and expand according to the requests we receive from our customers – often a solution we provide to one customer can be offered to another. Over 80% of our production is exported to Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand. We’ve been operating in the UK since a ‘garage startup’ in 2001 and have a sister company in the USA.
