Company description

Wring Group was founded in 1926 by Sydney Joseph Wring as a coal and coke removal firm for demolition sites. The company has grown and changed hugely over the years and is now owned and run by two of his grandsons: John Wring (Managing Director and Life Long Vice President of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors) and Dean Wring (Operations Director). Elected to membership of the NFDC in 1974, Wring Group now carries out demolition, dismantling, decontamination, remediation, waste management and environmental services. We operate a 24hr emergency works service for fire and flood damage, and are a national and international company currently carrying out works all across the United Kingdom. Our asbestos division was set up in the late 1970’s and has since grown to be a large sector of the company, having been a licensed asbestos removal contractor since 1982. More recently, we have established partnerships with the South West Tool Hire and WG Scaffold companies.
