ABE Global has been at the forefront of developing business education since it was founded, as the Association of Business Executives (ABE), in 1973. ABE is regulated in the United Kingdom by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) - Ofqual Recognition Number RN5221. ABE is also recognised by similar regulatory authorities in other countries. ABE is an independent subsidiary of The Institute of Leadership (IoL) a charity founded in 1947 dedicated to unlocking leadership potential. Over the last 50 years ABE have built a network of international partners across four continents to develop skills that support businesses, empower individuals, reduce gender inequality and tackle extreme poverty. ABE works with a global network of high-quality accredited TVET centres, to enable adults to become professionally qualified business practitioners at any age or stage in their career, frequently providing a pathway to university for people to whom it would not otherwise have been accessible.
Products and services
ABE’s professional Diplomas in Business Management, Human Resources and Marketing have been developed to provide the skillset needed for a business career. From entry level (3 or 4), students can progress up to Level 6 which will hone the strategic thinking required to work at a senior level. Registering for an ABE qualification includes one year's FREE studying membership of The Institute of Leadership. Entrepreneurialism is embedded throughout the programmes with the benefit of employers increasingly valuing staff who can demonstrate entrepreneurial abilities; an invaluable life skill in an ever-changing job market. ABE Level 5 and 6 qualifications can be used to top up to a degree that is delivered online through ABE’s exclusive partnership with the University of Hertfordshire or one of the numerous other partner universities that ABE work with, or which independently recognise the credit value of ABE’s qualifications (widely accepted in many countries).
