The Department of Veterans' Affairs is seeking the services of a qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business construction firm to provide all labor, material, transportation, equipment and qualified supervision required for the LINAC Vaults 1 & 2 Modifications project #652-16-107, located at the H.H. McGuire VA Medical Center, 1201 East Broad Rock Boulevard, Richmond, Virginia, 23249.

Contractor shall perform construction services necessary to replace and upgrade the roofs over the existing Linear Accelerator (LINAC) Vaults 1 and 2 as well as renovate the interiors of both vaults. The work shall be performed in strict accordance with the construction drawings and specifications and completed within 365 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. This includes final Inspection and cleanup.

The NAICS code for this project is 236220 with a small business size standard of $36.5 million. The estimated construction cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The drawings and specifications will be uploaded as part of the solicitation on or about 6/6/2019. A date and time for a pre-proposal conference / site visit will be stated in the solicitation. No other site visits will be conducted. Questions or Requests for Information (RFI s) from Bidders must be typewritten and e-mailed to the Contracting Officer, Mark S. Harville @ mark.harville@va.gov. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Only SDVOSB concerns are eligible to bid on this project, and bids received from concerns that are not SDVOSB concerns shall be rejected. In order to be considered, the firm must be registered on the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs VIP website (https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/) as a SDVOSB at the time of submission of their bid. No award will be made to a bidder that is not registered.
