PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision in accordance with construction documents, drawings and specifications to complete Project 607-15-101 Renovate 3B for Inpatient Unit at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, Madison, WI. This project involves renovations to approximately 10,000 sq ft of space on the third floor B-Wing of Building 1. Work includes but is not limited to: demolition; hazardous material removal and disposal; carpentry; interior finishes, window and door installations; pneumatic tube system extension, plumbing including medical gas system, fire protection; new air handling unit, HVAC ductwork and piping, controls; electrical power and lighting, nurse call, security systems and telecommunications.

The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package.

Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the contracting officer that it is a

(1) SDVOSB eligible vendor IAW VAAR Subpart 819.70; https://www.va.gov/oal/library/vaar/vaar819.asp#8197001

(2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and

(3) SDVOSB listed as verified in VIP CVE-VetBiz database at:  https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/  

The solicitation will be issued on or about 17 October 2019 with the bid opening on or about 19 November 2019. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOpps which may be issued to this solicitation. The project magnitude range is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; size standard $39.5 Million applies. Time for completion is 365 calendar days after Notice to Proceed.
