The Federal Agency for Civic Education operates the website www.fluter.de, which provides arguments, opinions, reports and services on socio-political issues and encourages young people to take an active part. Fluter.de, like the print edition of the magazine "fluter", is aimed primarily at young people between the ages of 16 and 22, but also at young people in times of upheaval and recipients who deal with young target groups. The main content of the website is a daily contribution on topics such as animals, climate change, the body, but also discussion and review formats, mostly in the form of texts, videos, images, graphics, audio files or games. The offer is also represented on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. In accordance with the educational mandate of the Federal Agency for Civic Education, the aim of the website is to convey an understanding of political issues, to strengthen democratic awareness and to promote political commitment. The object of the service to be awarded is the editorial support of the website as a basic service and participation in additional editorial meetings, the conception and implementation of advertising measures and the creation of unscheduled content (texts, videos, images, graphics, audio files, animations, games, chats, apps) as optional services on demand. In addition to the website, a print version of the magazine "fluter" is published four times a year at the end of the quarter on a key topic. The supervision of the print edition is not the subject of the service to be awarded, however, the main topic of the print edition is also used for the website, in coordination with the latter, and prepared there as described above. A coordination between website and print edition is therefore necessary. A maximum budget of EUR 870 000.00 (gross) per year is available for the basic service.
