PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT AT ALBANY RURAL CEMETERY SOLDIERS LOT (88); LOCATED IN ALBANY COUNTY, ALBANY NY.

PURPOSE:

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration (NC), is Soliciting Quote under Solicitation Number 36C78619Q0260 for construction of Mini-Minor (M&M), for the Replacement of Flag Pole at Albany Rural Cemetery Soldiers Lot (88).

DESCRIPTION:

The Contractor shall provide labor, material, tools, equipment, and professional service and supervision required for the construction and performance of all work In Accordance With (IAW) the Solicitation Plans, Specifications, Drawings, required permits, terms and conditions to Replace the Flag Pole at Albany Rural Cemetery Soldiers Lot as depicted in the Statement of Work (SOW), Specs and Drawings and the Solicitation.

COST MAGNITUDE: In Accordance With (IAW) VAAR 836.204; The Magnitude of Construction is less than $25,000.00.

SITE VISIT: A Site-Visit is scheduled for 30 April at 11:00 A.M. (EST). Questions shall be submitted to sheryl.palacio-davis@va.gov, NLT 72 hours after the Site-Visit {03 May 2019 @ 2:00 P.M. (EST)}. Questions received after 03 May 2019 @2:00 P.M. (EST), will not be accepted. Telephone inquiries are NOT accepted during the Solicitation Period.

THE AWARD OF THIS FUTURE CONTRACT IS SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FY-19 FUNDS.

CONTRACT DURATION: Performance Period (PP) is 180 Calendar Days from the date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

METHOD OF AWARD: THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-PRICE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT UNDER SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET ASIDE.

Award will be made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) 14 to a responsible Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) responding to this solicitation. Only verified SDVOSB firms are eligible to submit an offer or receive an award of a VA contract that is Set-Aside for SDVOSB in accordance with VAAR Part 819. A non-verified vendor that submits a bid or proposal will be rejected as non-responsive.
