Description

Waterford Institute of Technology wishes to procure the supply and delivery of the following:
• Lot 1 – 1 unit x Coordinate Measuring Machine
• Lot 2 – 1 unit x Automated White Light Interferometry
• Lot 3 – 1 unit x Benchtop Area Scanning X-Ray Fluorescence

Lot 1 – The Coordinate Measuring Machine is a 3-axis, fully automated, touch probe coordinate system. The system will have fixed and articulating probe heads capable of high-speed data acquisition, a rotary (4th) axis capable of vertical or horizontal mounting. The system will have a 700x700x600 working volume with minimal space wasted to stylus storage. The system will have modern control software and be capable of outputting detailed measurement reports.
Lot 2 – The Automated White Light Interferometry is a highly automated white light interferometry system for the measurement of surface roughness and other associated features. The system will have a driven sample stage and automated control over the optical path with a variety of objectives and working distances. The system will feature a modern PC based control and be capable of automated stitching over large areas.
Lot 3 – Benchtop Area Scanning X-Ray Fluorescence is a benchtop, standalone Micro X-ray Fluorescence (μXRF) Analysis System. The system will be capable of performing a wide range of different types of elemental analysis over a large sample area.
