Description
You should be able to deliver plant, equipment and facilities with proven and state-of-the-art process automation technologies.
This will provide an annual throughput for at least 3,000 wheel sets with minimal supervision and manpower.
The work includes:
- design
- manufacture
- installation
- testing
- commissioning
The plant and equipment must include:
- an automatic material handling system for moving wheels and wheel set components
- automated inspection and testing stations for inspecting new or reconditioned wheel sets and their components
- major wheel and axle profiling, washing and painting machines
- wheel set components assembling and dismantling stations
You will need to deliver a digital database and production management system to:
- digitalise wheel set maintenance and inspection data for predictive analytics
- deliver real-time monitoring of productivity and shop-floor operations
This will lead to smart work planning and management.
