Description

A toilet container was purchased for events organized by the Bundesstiftung Bauakademie in its event hall at Schinkelplatz 1, 10117 Berlin. This must be connected to the existing drinking water and wastewater pipes on the street side. For this purpose, separate transfer shafts are to be constructed adjacent to the street on the property at Schinkelplatz 1, into which the connection to the street media will be made on site by Berliner Wasserbetriebe and, in the case of the drinking water pipe, the water meter can be installed.
Transfer cross-sections on the street side:
Drinking water DN 32
Waste water DN 150
From the transfer shafts, the supply and wastewater pipes are to be laid at a frost-proof depth directly to the toilet container (approx. 16 m) (including excavation work). At the connection point to the WC container, where the pipes come out of the ground, a box must be formed, which is insulated and fitted with trace heating (connection to the on-site 230V socket on the outside of the container).

The house connection plan for the WC container is attached as Annex 01.
Appendix 02 shows the types of manhole permitted by Berliner Wasserbetrieb for the drinking water and wastewater manholes. The contractor is free to choose the type of manhole shown here. The shaft type must be specified in the tender calculation.
