Description
The aim of the procurement is to fulfil the municipalities' obligations in the law dated 15 June 2001 no. 75 on veterinary surgeons and other animal health personnel § 3 a.Grane and Hattfjelldal Municipalities are located in Nordland County bordering Trøndelag in the south and Sweden in the east. In the district there are approx. 12,000 farm animals, mainly split between sheep, cattle, pigs, goats, deer, and horses.The duties will be minimum split into 4, of which 1/2 of the weekday duties and every 2nd weekend duty will be taken care of by the veterinary service in Grane and the municipal veterinary surgeon in Hattfjelldal.After the contest has been held, the municipalities will try to get one of the duty participants to take on the function of duty administrator.
The contract includes:1. Provision of veterinary duty services in Grane and Hattfjelldal Municipalities.2. Provision of daytime veterinary duty services in Grane Municipality:- One tenderer will be awarded a contract for the provision of daytime veterinary duty services in Grane Municipality, as well as ¼ participation in the veterinary duty service.- 1-3 tenderers (veterinary surgeons/veterinary clinics) will be awarded contracts for the provision of the remaining veterinary duty services in the duty district. Individual veterinary surgeons can offer up to ¼ duties, whilst veterinary clinics can submit an offer based on the available veterinary resources in the clinic.- In the case of illness, holidays, and other absences of daytime veterinary surgeons that cannot be met by daytime veterinary surgeons in Grand and Hattfjelldal, the participants in the veterinary duty scheme must take over responsibility for the daytime in the municipality that has absences. The estimated scope is approx. 5-10 weeks a year.Contract period will be from 01.01.2024 - 01.01.2034. The contract value is estimated to be NOK 18,000,000 excluding VAT. The annual estimated value based on the defined rates will be approx. NOK 1.5 million excluding VAT for Grane Municipality and Hattfjelldal Municipality.
