Germany - Ventilation system installation

Description

For the main building in Kirchenweg 21 in 25980 Westerland/ Sylt, which was originally built in 1902 as a district court and is now used as a police station, basic repair, conversion and extension measures are planned. The old part of the building is fully listed. It is completely cleared for the upcoming construction measures. In the future, 3 floors (basement, ground floor and first floor) will be used primarily as administrative buildings. The attic floor is proportionally designated as an air handling center, the rest of the attic floor is unused.
Main services to be performed:A central ventilation system with heat recovery and a "change-over" heating/cooling coil with an air exchange rate of about 16,000 m³/h will be installed in the attic. The heating/cooling supply is provided by a geothermal system. Sanitary, shower and functional rooms as well as the laboratory, guard, secure witness and custody areas are ventilated and de-aerated. Humidification is provided for the guard and custody areas via one duct humidifier each. One server room will receive 2 redundant air-conditioning split systems. The MSR technology is provided by the building automation trade, which is not included in this tender.
