1.1 Purpose of the call for tenders
By the present call for tenders, the City of Sept-Îles requires bids for the rental of various motor vehicles for the 2024 season.
4.1 Equipment required / Categories
The City estimates that it will lease twenty-one (21) vehicles for use by municipal employees and to transport light materials in the Sept-Îles area. These vehicles will be operated by appropriately licensed drivers.
For the purposes of this call for tenders, the various vehicles required have been grouped under ten (10) different categories, as follows:
Category C1 - Extended cab or crew van, 4X4, 1/2 or 3/4 ton and 8-foot flatbed;
Category C2 - Crew cab or extended cab pickup, 4X4, 1/2 or 3/4 ton and 8-foot bed;
Class C3 - Crew cab pickup, 4X4, 1/2 or 3/4 ton and 8-foot bed;
Category C4 - Extended cab or crew cab pickup, 4X4, 3/4 ton and 6.5-foot bed;
Class C5 - Crew cab or extended cab pickup, 4X4, 3/4 ton and 8-foot bed;
Category C6 - Crew cab pickup, 4X4, 1/2 or 3/4 ton and 8-foot bed;
Class C7 - Mid-size car;
Class C8 - Utility vehicle;
Category C9 - Utility vehicle;
Category C10 - Utility vehicle.
