By the present notice, the Centre de services scolaires de Montréal (CSSDM) invites bids for the following call for tenders:

Title: Varnishing of gymnasium floors

Purpose of contract:
The purpose of this call for tenders is to retain the services of one (or more) contractor(s), who must hold the "Contractor in Finishing Work" (sub-category 9.0) and "Wood and Plastic Work" (sub-category 6.2) licenses issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec. The contractor will carry out, upon request, various cleaning - varnishing and sanding - lining - varnishing work on school gymnasium floors in the West, East, South and North sectors of the CSSDM in accordance with the conditions of this call for tenders document (refer to the technical specifications and plans for each sector appended to this call for tenders).

Tenderers may, if they wish, tender for only one or other of the sectors or lots indicated on the tender form.
Renewal options : The contract will be valid for a period of one year from the date of award. The agreement will include a one-year renewal option. This option may be exercised at the request of the CSSDM and with the agreement of the successful bidder.

Given the current situation, bidders wishing to submit a paper bid are asked to come to the CSSDM administrative center on the day of the opening. A representative of the Bureau des approvisionnements will be on hand to receive bids from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
The CSSDM will receive bids for the corresponding call for tenders by 2 p.m. on the opening date indicated. Each bid must be delivered sealed in an envelope identified by the return label included with the call for tenders or by any exact reproduction of its contents, as well as the bidder's name and address in the upper left-hand corner.
It is the bidder's sole responsibility to ensure that the documents are deposited at 5100 Sherbrooke Street East, 1st floor, Montreal, Quebec, H1V 3R9, on the date and at the time stipulated in this call for tenders, and delivered by hand to the Procurement Office.
It is important to allow sufficient time for access and submission of bids. The CSSDM cannot be held responsible for delays related to access management in the context of a pandemic.
Visitor parking is available for those wishing to submit paper bids.
Tenderers may contact the person in charge for any information they may require. The CSSDM does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the bids received.
Tender documents must be obtained directly and exclusively from the SÉAO.

No list of document takers will be provided by the owner.
