Description

"Wegweiser" is a prevention programme against violent Salafism. It is already intended to prevent the entry into violent Salafism and therefore focuses on young people who are in the process of radicalizing themselves. With its counselling and support services for those affected and their social environment, the programme starts early and pursues a holistic approach in the search for solutions. The basis of the programme is therefore an effective networking of the signpost contact points to be set up with the local actors. Network partners are institutions in particular from the fields of youth, integration, schools and other educational institutions, police, mosque communities, welfare associations, job centres or therapeutic institutions. As a result of the expansion, both current sponsorships will be opened up to competition after the old contracts expire and put out to tender again, in order to ensure further continuity by extending the term and possibly further territorial expansion, and new signpost contact points will be opened. Object of the service: In the counselling centres to be set up, the contractor is to provide concrete counselling and support services for those seeking help and inquiring about Islamism, in particular extremist Salafism and radicalisation, in his own area of responsibility (offline counselling). The counselling and support offered primarily comprises individual counselling for those affected and their environment as well as general information provision to indirectly affected persons and, subordinate to this, general awareness-raising work. another service offered by the signpost programme is to be online prevention measures that are suitable in the future and also pursue the goal of preventing young people from slipping into Salafist extremism. For the purposes of the call for tenders, these measures are grouped together under the term "online signpost". Here, suitably qualified social workers are to perform knowledge-based, outreach prevention work on the Internet. The specially trained "online street workers" are integrated into the existing structures and networks of the respective signpost contact points and then deployed throughout NRW. A qualification platform for the corresponding specialist personnel is currently being set up by the client. The "Wegweiser Online" will be called up as soon as the qualification platform for "Onlinestreetworkers" has been set up in a functional manner and the corresponding budgetary requirements for the service call have been met. There is no entitlement to access the "Wegweiser Online" service. Further detailed information can be found in the service description.
