United States - USA - RFP for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) consulting services in Florida

Description

A village of 60,000 residents within Palm Beach County, Florida intends to enter into an agreement with qualified individuals/firms to provide consulting services to assist in the procurement and implementation of a new ERP system.

Deadline for RFP: 29 June 2016 10:00 AM EST

The Village provides the following traditional municipal services:

- Public Works including roads, drainage, and canal management
- Utility Services including Water, and Wastewater
- Land use Planning and Zoning
- Community Redevelopment and Economic Development
- Building Permitting including plan review processing
- Business licensing, contractor licensing and miscellaneous licensing functions
- Communications including public relations, media relations, and community information sharing

The village currently uses SunGard public sector’s Naviline software suite (“SunGard”) and intends to replace the existing system with comprehensive modern software products that will provide it with more efficient, state-of-the-art products with extensive reporting capabilities.

Proposals are sought from consultants for services that include (but are not limited to):

1. Needs Assessment:
2. Development of an ERP Request for Proposal (RFP)
3. ERP proposal submission/evaluation process:
4. Assist with contract negotiation with the selected vendor
5. Assist in the implementation of the new ERP system including transition from the existing system
