INFORMATION CONCERNING THE CALL FOR TENDERS

Project title: Upgrade, sprinkler (phase 1) and repair of the water inlet
Name of Project: Ludger-Duvernay School (Verchères)
Project summary: The work includes, but is not limited to, the addition of two new exterior exits, the repair of stoops, and the upgrading of fire separations. The addition of a water inlet for fire protection, sprinklers will be added in a subsequent phase and the modification of the domestic water inlet.

Acceptance of work: September 15, 2023
SITE VISITS BY THE CONTRACTOR
Two (2) site visits are offered to bidders interested in this project:
#1: Site Visit Date: February 16, 2023 Site Visit Time: 1:30 p.m.
#2: Site visit date: February 21, 2023 Time of visit: 9:30 am

Bidders will be able to meet the representative of the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION outside near the main entrance of the building.
Important note: For the site visit, plan to bring the necessary protective equipment such as a helmet, eye protection, overcoat and gas detector for the visit of the restricted area.
Bidders must confirm with the public agency, at the time of the request for a visit, that their representatives will be equipped with protective equipment and a gas detector in order to visit the confined spaces
Bidders wishing to visit the site must confirm their presence in advance by e-mail to the designated officer in charge of the bidding process, at least 24 hours (working day) in advance. The date and time of the visit will be confirmed to the bidders interested in a site visit.

At no time should bidders or subcontractors direct their questions to the professionals indicated in the plans and specifications. Only questions transmitted to the administrative agent will be considered by the public body for the purposes of this call for tenders.
If applicable, questions will be answered by way of an Addendum. No verbal information provided during the visit is the responsibility of the Public Agency. In the event of a discrepancy between the verbal exchanges during the visit and the tender documents, the latter shall prevail.
It is the responsibility of the bidders to adequately inform themselves and assess the nature and scope of the work and to familiarize themselves with the site and conditions affecting the performance of the work. All bidders shall be deemed to have visited the site and no claim for lack of knowledge of the site shall be entertained.
VALIDITY OF BIDS
The bid is valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of the bid opening.
Obtaining Documents: The bidder must obtain the tender documents directly through the "SÉAO" tender posting system, failing which his bid will not be considered.
Only bids from contractors having an establishment in Quebec or, where an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by that agreement and holding, where applicable, the license required under the Building Act (LRQ c.B.-1.1) will be considered for awarding the contract.
Tenderers are responsible for the selection of subcontractors, both in terms of their creditworthiness and the content of their bids. All bids shall be made in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation respecting construction contracts of public bodies adopted pursuant to the Act respecting contracts of public bodies (R.S.Q., c. C-65.1, r. 5).
Any bidder interested in entering into a contract of $25,000 or more with the PUBLIC BODY must hold a certificate from Revenu Québec (ARQ). The bidder must submit the attestation (ARQ) to the CSSP with its bid, otherwise its bid will be automatically rejected. The Revenu Québec certificate must be valid until the end of the 3-month period following the month in which it was issued.
