Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Twin Disk Dredge TransmissionThe Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Basin (LCB), intends to negotiate and award a contract on a non-competitive basis to Ellicott Dredges, LLC 1425 Wicomico Street, Baltimore, MD 21230. The Yuma Area Office (YAO) has a requirement for a Twin Disk dredge transmission for Multi-Species Conservation Program (MSCP) Section 26 Conservation Area backwater development.The proposed action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authorities of FAR 13.501 and FAR 6.302-1(c). Ellicott Dredges, LLC is currently the only vendor with this specific transmission readily available to ship. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 333613, Mechanical Power Transmission Equipment Manufacturing with a corresponding small business size standard of 750 employees.The anticipated award date is April 5, 2024. Inquiries will only be accepted in writing via email to Kathleen Berry at kberry@usbr.gov. Inquiries must clearly state the solicitation number and subject. Inquiries must be received no later than March 29, 2024. The contract award information will be posted on SAM.gov, Contract Opportunities website at SAM.gov. The justification and Approval for using noncompetitive procedures will be posted after award is made.This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement; and is issued for notification purposes only.
