Description

The Port of Antwerp wishes to rent 1 port tug on the basis of a bareboat charter with the following characteristics for the execution of operational tasks within the fleet of the Port of Antwerp under the applicable towing regulations within the port of Antwerp. The contract will also include a purchase option. It is the ambition of the Port of Antwerp to have the leased tugboat delivered by 1.1 at the latest. DimensionsMaximum length: 30mMaximum width: 13.5mmaximum draught: 6.20m- Gross Tonnage < 499 tonnes- Main engines and propellers maximum 12.The tugboat has an inland navigation certificate valid for zone 2, 3 and 4 Belgium and the Netherlands OR The tugboat has a coastal area certificate (class certificate issued by IACS recognized class society and also complies with IACS 99) - 2 rudder propellers Azimuth drives in tractor or derived configuration - Side stepping speed > 3 knots - Course stable at all times - Split drum or tug winch with 2 independently operating drums (non-simultaneous) or 2 separate winches so that one can work with 2 cables simultaneously,- Accommodation suitable for a minimum of 3 crew members - "proven concept" - at least 4 months of operational experience with the type of ship on offer - Additional requirements:- Charter model based on bareboat - The vessel model offered must be able to be inserted into simulator software - The tenderer must provide the possibility for both nautical and technical training for crew, both on simulator and on board - Proposed duration of the contract: 4 years
