The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Caribbean-Florida Water Science Center (CFWSC) has a requirement to establish an indefinite delivery contract for a fully found and crewed vessel with support equipment to use as a base and for transport for USGS turtle trawling operations related and unrelated to oil spill research activities within the Gulf of Mexico. Vessel will be able to remain on site 24 hours a day for 7 to 10 days. Exact dates will depend upon coordination of work with contractor, and relevant time for field work. The contractor shall provide a captain experienced in open water navigation in the Gulf of Mexico, and other personnel as deemed necessary by the contractor. The contractor shall possess all required licenses and permits. For specific details see attached Work Statement.
Request for Quote (RFQ) 140G0119Q0152 will be issued on June 6, 2019 with written quotes due on June 24, 2019.
This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 483113. The size standard is 750 employees.
The anticipated award date of the contract is no later than September 15, 2019. A vendor must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/index.html to be awarded the contract.
