The contract includes the provision of travel services to Hanze University Groningen from the position of travel agent including all associated services, tailored to the diversity of customer needs at the university.Hanze University intends to conclude a framework agreement with one tenderer to fill the role of travel agent. Hanzehogeschool wishes to enter into this framework agreement for an initial period of two years. At the end of the initial term of the agreement, the client has the option to extend the agreement four times by one year each time. It is the intention of the client to utilize the full contract term.
The contract includes the provision of travel services to Hanze University Groningen from the position of travel agent including all related services, tailored to the diversity in customer needs at hoheschool and consists of:- Providing and facilitating an online booking tool that allows the booker to book travel independently without the intervention of the travel consultant;- Supporting the transition from booking travel through a customer service to booking travel through the offered online booking tool;- Providing and making available online all relevant information about travel and accommodation to traveler and Client in one place;- Making quotes for travel based on the best suitable travel option and alternative travel options;- Booking, reserving, issuing, changing and canceling travel, accommodation and other services directly related to travel and accommodation (such as, for example, advice on travel advice from BUZA, vaccination or (additional) booking of large luggage etc.) on behalf of employees of the client ;- Taking care of and providing the necessary (travel) documentation and travel documents in a timely manner (online);- Assisting with, and applying for, visas;- Providing a 24-hour service desk for general support of travelers and handling emergencies and emergencies;- Reclaiming unused tickets;- Filing compensation claims as a result of delayed or cancelled flights and/or train journeys;- Recording and monitoring complaints and customer satisfaction;- Providing opportunities for booking group travel for employees;- Providing management and steering information;- Connecting to the strategic objectives (see Appendix 2) of the Hanze including sustainability.Hanze University intends to enter into a framework agreement with one tenderer to fill the role of travel agent.
