Description

The objective of the present tendering procedure is to conclude a framework agreement for the provision of art transport services. The object of the tender to be provided by a future contractor in the event of an order essentially comprises the planning and execution of outward and return transports or onward transports in connection with exhibitions with several national and international stations in means of transport specially equipped for transporting art (lorries etc.). This invitation to tender covers the transport of art within and outside Europe. In the event of an order, the future contractor must essentially provide the following services: Provision of specialist personnel (driver, aviation security officer, customs officer, etc.); provision of all services required for proper packaging in accordance with international museum standards; provision of all services required for professional packing and unpacking of the works of art in accordance with the specifications and conditions of the lenders; preparation and processing of all documents required with the transport; planning, implementation and coordination of road and air transport; planning, implementation and coordination of courier trips; planning and coordination of transport services provided by external companies specified by the lenders; temporary storage of the works of art; option: Construction and dismantling (art handling) of the art objects according to the specifications and conditions of the lenders.
