Description

The subject of the contract is to provide the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development with translations (Lot I) for the period 2020-2021 for the participation of the Contracting Authority's representatives in the common agricultural policy, in the work of European Union bodies, the World Trade Organisation, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation and the World Bank. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Republic of Poland is responsible for the implementation of the European Union's policy on the protection of human rights, democracy and the rule of law, as well as for the development of the Food and Agriculture Organisation and other international organisations, as well as for bilateral and multilateral cooperation with foreign countries, from English, French, Russian, German, other European languages and Latin and from non-European languages into Polish, and from Polish into these foreign languages, in particular: a) written translations of draft legal acts of the European Union,b) written translations of legal acts of the Republic of Poland,c) written translations of other documents and materials to the extent that the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development is competent, with particular emphasis on issues concerning m.d) substantive and linguistic verification of the translations provided by the Contracting Authority.2The Awarding Entity shall provide the following information related to the execution of Part I of the order:1) The Awarding Entity shall allow for the translation of documents and materials into foreign languages, excluding Polish,2) The Awarding Entity anticipates that: a) approximately 95 % of orders will be executed in an ordinary mode (i.e. up to 40 pages of text per day as part of a single order),b) approximately 5 % of orders will be executed in an express mode (i.e. up to 40 pages of text per day as part of a single order),c) approximately 5 % of orders will be executed in an express mode (i.e. up to 40 pages of text per day as part of a single order). more than 40 pages of text per day as part of a single assignment),c) about 5 % of assignments will be provided by a sworn translator,d) about 5 % of assignments will be for translation verification,e) about 5 % of assignments will be for translations into non-European languages,3) only full pages of a translation (1 600 characters including spaces and paragraphs) will be charged, The Ordering Party expects the translations to be rounded up to 800 characters for the benefit of the Ordering Party and over 800 characters for the benefit of the Contractor,4) The Ordering Party expects the Contractor to be awarded approximately 1 200 translation orders,5) The Ordering Party requires the Contractor to provide free courier services within the scope of the order. The subject of the contract is to provide the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development with interpretation (Lot II) for the period 2020-2021 for the participation of the Contracting Authority's representatives in the Common Agricultural Policy, in the work of European Union bodies, in the framework of the World Trade Organisation, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation. The Centre for Food and Agriculture and other international organisations, as well as in the field of bilateral and multilateral cooperation with foreign countries, from English, French, Russian, German, other European languages and Latin and from non-European languages into Polish, as well as from Polish into these foreign languages, in particular: interpreting during conferences, seminars and trainings and during meetings of Polish and foreign delegations.The Awarding Entity shall provide the following information related to the performance of Part II of the contract:1) The Awarding Entity shall allow interpreting into foreign languages with the exclusion of the Polish language,2) The Awarding Entity shall provide consecutive interpreting during meetings of Polish and foreign delegations and simultaneous interpreting during conferences, seminars and training sessions:a) without technical equipment,b) with the use of technical equipment, its type and number, specified in the contract, i.e.:Interpreter's cabinet with accessories, Central Unit and infrared receivers with the required number of channels, Delegate Desks, Interpreter's Desks, Amplification and Transmission Devices Kit, Sound system for all participants, Mobile Kits for simultaneous interpreting and the Contractor's provision of its proper service, assembly and disassembly - excluding foreign travel sessions with the participation of interpreters.c) using the technical equipment provided by the Commissioning Party at the place of interpreting,3) The Commissioning Party provides that: a) approximately 30% of the orders will be made up of simultaneous interpreting (including approximately 40% with the provision of the technical equipment specified in item 2 by the Contractor lithium. b) about 70 % of the orders will be consecutive,c) about 5 % will be translated into non-European languages,4) in the case of foreign and domestic travel sessions with the participation of interpreters, the costs of their trips are the Contractor's costs,5) in the case of foreign travel sessions with the participation of interpreters, the Ordering Party may book tickets or hotel places and the Contractor is obliged to purchase them,6) only full hours of translation time are charged, where the time up to 29 minutes of a given hour is rounded up in favour of the Ordering Party and the time from 30 minutes of a given hour is rounded up in favour of the Contractor, if a given interpretation lasts up to 29 minutes, a full clock hour shall be billed,7) the time of the interpreter's readiness to perform interpreting shall not be billed,8) The Awarding Entity reserves the right to cancel a one-day deadline for using the services of an interpreter,9) The Awarding Entity expects that the Economic Operator will be awarded about 250 interpreting assignments, including outgoing translations of about 25%, in the proportion of 60% - country, 40% - abroad.
